Prioritizing Safety and Necessity in Surgical Care

We understand that all surgery and anesthesia involves some risk and can be stressful.  However, during your pet’s lifetime, there may be times where surgery is an important option for the prevention or treatment of disease. We promise to never recommend surgery unless the benefit of the procedure significantly outweighs the risks.

Safety First In order to mitigate or reduce surgical risks, we perform blood work prior to every surgical procedure. We acknowledge that there is no one size fits all protocol for anesthesia, therefore we provide age, breed and species appropriate anesthesia.  We monitor pets vital signs including but not limited to pulse rate, Oxygenation levels, ECG, Blood pressure, temperature, respiratory rate and CO2 levels.  We provide age, breed, and procedure appropriate preoperative and postoperative care, including sedation, anxiety control, and pain control.

Surgical Options

While we are experienced in performing many routine procedures and soft tissue surgeries,  some procedures are best performed by a board certified veterinary surgeon.  We educate you on what procedure is best for your pet, the timing of the surgery, estimated costs associated with the procedure, and all options available to you for either in house surgery or referral.

Procedures we perform in house include, but are not limited to:

  • Spay & Neuter
  • Dentistry
  • Mass removals
  • Soft Tissue procedures
  • and more.
